Few Words from
the Founder
It is sad to say but almost
every life insurance agent has been walked on during some point
in their career. The causes of this are many but the one that
stands out in my mind is the greed of people above you. Making
overrides on your production all of a sudden is not good enough
for them.
Soon they overcharge for leads that are distributed to multiple
agents, charge you to attend conventions, take away your
residuals, never bump up your contract fast enough, create
ridiculous programs that you need to buy into or they say you
will never succeed and hit you with the hype that makes you feel
you are sitting in the audience at an infomercial. Has this
happened to you? The madness stops here.
Here is my story. After
returning home after a 15-month tour in Iraq with Army National
Guard in 2005, I soon got my license and joined an agency that
was everything I described above. They charged $20 for a direct
mail lead and a week later, that lead was sold to
other agents. Even worse, if you wanted to recruit agents you
would have to pay an override on every lead they bought. So you
had a lead bill from agents you recruited as well as your own
lead bill. What happens is eventually you can't keep your head
above water. The leads keep coming even if you didn't ask for
them. They keep debiting your account and worst of all you start
at 55%. As you move up the commission ranks so does the cost of
each lead and before you know it your paying over $30 a lead.
Worst of all, they give you one carrier to write with and you
can imagine how many appointments I had to walk away from
because they were to old, sick or just didn't qualify. So why
does an agency like this manage to recruit other agents?
It is because they have a lead system and that is the key to
this whole industry. Your success is based squarely on the lead
system you use.
Our system is everything direct
mail leads, internet leads and telemarketing leads are not.
Imagine receiving voicemails direct in your email account of
people asking you to call them back minutes after the message
was left. Better yet, when you call them back and introduce
yourself and company, they say, "Oh yeah, hi." or "Thanks for
returning my phone call." The best part about it, is this lead
is yours and is exclusive to you. So if you have a person that
you just can't get a hold for weeks and weeks, no fear, it will
not be distributed to anybody else. What about when you are in
the house? Well, you have a carrier for every situation. The
only deal you will have to walk away from is if they are over
85...period!
One last point about the rah rah
and infomercial garbage, we don't believe in that and if you
can't get your own self motivated by calling back people that
actually want to talk with you, then you need not apply. We
don't want you.
Best of luck in your new career with us and Welcome
Aboard!
